This Privacy Statement covers the privacy practices that Sensei Project Solutions, Inc. (“Sensei”) employs when providing support, consulting, or hosting services (the “Services”) to Sensei clients through Sensei’s Software products and Software-as-a-Service solutions (“Software Offerings”). Sensei established this Privacy Statement to clarify Sensei’s role as a processor where Sensei processes services data on behalf of Sensei clients through Sensei’s Software Offerings.
Services data (“Data”) is data that Sensei is provided access to in connection with the Software Offerings, such as data accessed through a Software-as-a-Service environment or data accessed through test, development and production environments. Sensei treats Data in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Sensei agreement for the Software Offerings with the Sensei client.
Data Use. Data may be accessed and used to fulfill the requirements specified in the Sensei customer agreement or license for Software Offerings. Sensei technical staff may require periodic access to Data to monitor system performance, test systems and develop and implement upgrades to systems. Any temporary copies of Data created as a necessary part of this process are only maintained for time periods relevant to those purposes. Sensei may also be required to provide personal information to comply with legally mandated reportings, disclosure or other legal process requirements. Sensei reserves a limited right to disclose any personally identifiable information we receive if required by law or valid order of a court or other governmental authority, or if needed to protect the health and safety of Sensei employees, a client’s employees, or the general public.
Sensei may transfer and access Data globally as required for the purposes specified above.
Sensei does not use Data except as stated above or as provided in the relevant Sensei customer agreement. Sensei may process Data, but does not control a Sensei client’s information collection or use practices for Data. If a Sensei client provides any Data to Sensei, the client is responsible for providing any notices and/or obtaining any consents necessary for Sensei to access and use Data as specified in this statement and the Sensei customer agreement or license.
As Sensei clients control access to Data by its end-users, end-users should direct any requests related to their personal information to Sensei clients.
Certain Sensei Software Offerings may provide Sensei clients the ability to collect personal information, via cookies and other technologies, from their end-users. Sensei clients should seek their own legal advice about any laws applicable to their collection of such information, so that Sensei clients can be sure that they are complying with those laws, including providing any required notices and obtaining any required consents.
Modifications to Statement. Sensei reserves the right to modify or supplement this Sensei Software Privacy Statement at any time.
